procrastination/Meiko

okay -- so I'm so over this whole paper dilemma (no, I'm not done yet). I keep getting distracted by the internet. This is my third post today.

I finally heard the dates for my high school reunion this summer. June 27. That's the weekend I was hoping to make a quick Vegas trip. So, while I'm happy that it looks like I can actually go to my reunion, it also means I won't be sipping sangria at Postrio, dancing at Studio 54 (aren't there better clubs now?) or getting pedicures/facials with any of my Vegas friends as soon as I had hoped... instead it looks like I won't be able to go until later in the year after I start working again. Then, while I will actually have moolah to spend, I'll also have a bank-holiday schedule. Are there any three-day weekends after Labor Day? .... I'm already day dreaming about shopping at the new Towne Center and H&M...

p.s. I'm listening to my new * favorite new artist * Meiko. I discovered her listening to an online interview with Joshua Radin last week. And... she's coming to town all weekend ~ but I already have plans both nights and can't go. I usually have nothing to do on the weekends -- but this one is packed.

• Thurs ~ I promised my aunt I'd babysit, plus I need to do 2 weeks worth of laundry *its free at her house, or $4 a load at my apt*
• Fri ~ the annual law school talent show/beer festival/auction. If its anything like last year, it will be my second favorite/funnest night over the last 3 years.
  
• Sat ~ my new boss/Judge X, is hosting a party/barbecue and he wants me to go so he can get to know me and so I can hear advice from all his former clerks who are invited. Its not supposed to be as bad as it sounds.
  
• Sun ~ Rockies game at 1:00, hopefully - I checked today for tickets, and they're still available
  
• + lots of homework/reading and studying for finals -- wait, where does that fit?
