Go Rockies!

Tonight's the first Rockies game... I'm still home working on my paper (I'm skipping my trial class tonight for many reasons - mostly because I have a cold and don't want to be at school any more than absolutely necessary). So, I'll be watching the game while working on my paper.

There has been so much talk lately doubting the Rockies ability to make it back to the postseason. Either way, I'm excited for the season. I'll be going to a couple games this year (2nd row from the dugout!) I finally found a sport I like again -- besides UW football (we have season tickets).

I just can't get into UW basketball like I used to ... I have the MTN channel, and I think they came to CU... but still managed to see ZERO games this year. Go figure? Plus, I love going to the MWC tourney, but couldn't this year - didn't matter b/c they lost in the first round anyways.

As for the Broncos, they're okay. The only game I saw this year was the one I actually had tickets to, and it was cold and rainy so we left at halftime. (Plus, the seats we're SO high, nosebleed - literally, the steps at the top of the stadium are so steep that I had to hold onto the handrail w/ a death grip afraid to tumble down).

Update: Rox won - but the game wasn't very exciting, so I got a lot accomplished with my paper. Its due in 2.25 hours -- I may actually finish on time.
