The email wasn't so exciting, just a newsletter from my undergrad school. But this picture popped up:
it reminds me of college days and how much fun we had growing up and going out. The bars in that old-west town were fun - but it wasn't just the drinking that made college great. It was trying to sneak in before we were 21 for whatever reason (mostly to see bands - or find cute guys), it was me sneaking right past the bouncer and my best friend looking at me through the glass from the sidewalk wondering if she was going to get carded, it was trying to transfer "over 21 stamps" from one friends hand to another with spit while the stamp was still wet, it was running in the sprinklers after drinking jungle juice at the frat parties, and more...One weeknight my amigas and I had a dacari/margarita night (after we we
re legal) at Wingers and then for some reason ended up running around the field by this statute and taking crazy pictures of us next to "Steamboat Willy" and giggling for hours... that was at least five year ago, we hardly every talk anymore - one lives in NV, another in TX and me here... but, I miss you gals!!! (here's one pic from that night)good thing we have a reunion soon
Update: 4/18/08 - I realize this blog makes it sound like college was only a drink-fest. And, yes, while that was a large part of my college experience, it wasn't the ONLY thing. Hopefully soon, I'll find some time to post more college stories that don't involve alcohol.

Your blog keeps making me nostalgic. Now I miss Wyoming and I have no reason to go back since my folks have moved.
Aw....I missed fun stuff in Laramie. Though I had tons of fun in Oklahoma - I feel like I missed out on so much with you guys!!
