birthday

Thanks everybody for the birthday wishes (last Fri).

My fav email was from Sephora. I know they were pretending to be my friend and feeding on my emotions so that I would buy something. Sephora = marketing geniuses because it worked, almost. I felt good all day after their letter above (it even included this salutation: "Dear Beauty"). Aww -- that reminds me of my friend Meghan, if you know her, you know why-- anyways, I didn't succumb to the buying pressure. But, probably only because I stocked up at Sephora a couple weeks ago and didn't need anything -- and I got the above-mentioned birthday gift then.

Also, thanks to M & M for good conversation and a great dinner, it was so yummy! We went to the Grand Lux Cafe (who would've thought that Denver would have one, right? It reminds me of the Vegas days when we'd go to GL for 'work' lunches).

Its just another day, right? Eventually, I'm probably not even going to want to celebrate them anymore. For now, I still do.

I guess I feel closer to 30 now. Plus, I realized I just spent three of my best twenty-something years in boring law school... so that means I need to make up for the last 5 years of my 20s over the next 2 years (fun-wise). Its a goal I can't wait to meet! Margaritas anyone?
