taxes

I love the spring time -- except that it also means TAX time. I know lawyers are supposed to 'know about taxes' but I don't fit that category; and I don't have a future as an IRS attorney. Instead, I cringe when I hear "step up in tax basis" because I have no clue what that means, and I probably never will.

And, tonight I'm depressed that I'll just went through the hrblock.com process and realized I'm only getting $8 back on my federal taxes!!! I'm trying to look on the bright side, and its better than having to pay.
